 This temple was
built the late 13th Century by Priest Ninsho in the quiet place. In the
precinct, Jizo Bodhisattva called “Oshiroi Gizo (or cosmetic Bodhisattva)”
is worshiped by female. It is said that women make up Bodhisattva's face
in return when their dreams come true. |
