Photo Kiko-ji Temple was built by Priest Gyoki in 721. This Hall, which was made as a sample of the Great Buddha Hall of Todai-ji Temple, in one-tenth of its real size, is called "A trial of the Great Buddha's Hall". The present Hall was rebuilt in the early Muromachi Period (14th Century). Lotus in pots are in full bloom from the end of June to the beginning of August.
